Amanda Barnes Explore Chile from Atacama to Patagonia!

This The activity consists of Amanda Barnes, author of the South American Wine Guide and renowned British journalist, correspondent and editor specializing in wines and travel, giving 3 master classes aimed at the press, distributors, restaurants and independent retailers.

The objective of the activity is to educate attendees about the sustainability and innovations of Chile, covering the “new” extremes of our country, and visiting the projects that broaden the category in terms of terroirs and endow it with a special audacity thanks to the effort of our oenologists and viticulturists to discover these hidden places.

This allows us to highlight Chile, show its productive portfolio and promote the offer of Chilean wine with attractive and different proposals. Amanda is the ideal person to lead this activity since she lived and worked in Chile, so the knowledge she has of our country has been acquired in the very terroir of our wines. Currently she is studying to become a Master of Wine.

Responsible consumption

Become a responsible
wine consumer

We could go on for hours about wine, and its benefits are many. Among them, moderate wine consumption reduces the risk of mortality from heart disease by half, improves blood flow and enhances the flavours of food. In addition, wine is social, allowing for different delicious libations in the company of friends. But wine is not without its pitfalls, as the saying goes, there can be too much of a good thing.

Consumption

Drinking alcohol, even in small quantities, alters cognitive abilities, decreases our attentiveness and leads to slower response times. It is worth noting that alcohol consumption is the leading cause of traffic accidents.

Being a responsible consumer is everyone’s business

You can be a part of the solution, keeping the above in mind to not let wine become a negative experience.
