A worldwide favorite among white wines, this grape has proven to know how to adapt to regions with cool climates such as in Casablanca, San Antonio, and Aconcagua. More recently, it has experienced great success in Limarí, where it takes on an appealing minerality thanks to the calcareous soils in the region and the ocean breeze that cools off the entire country. The mouthfeel is intense, and it is a variety that appears to be vibrant in the right terroirs, producing grapes that take well to their contact with wood and afford the wine a complexity and notes of hazelnut toasted to perfection. Perfect for full-bodied fish and white meats.
