Copiapó Valley

Copiapó, the northernmost wine-producing valley recently included among the country’s producing regions, is part of the region of Atacama in Chile, and home to the driest non-polar desert in the world. Small winemaking projects in this desert climate are irrigated with water from natural oases. The majority of the vineyards in Copiapó are planted with Pisco grapes used for the production of this liquor made with a Chilean grape.
