Aconcagua Valley

Its basin is formed by the Aconcagua River, which flows from the Andes Cordillera to the Pacific Ocean. There are alluvial and colluvial terraces along its banks, which are ideal for vine cultivation. The red varieties have a long-standing tradition in the inland valley close to the Andes. Meanwhile, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir, varieties that love a cold climate, are thriving and displaying excellent results in the valley’s coastal area.
