The event brought together a large number of experts and vineyards from around the world.
With an attendance of over 1,300 presenters from different countries, the Chilean wine sector along with Wines of Chile were one of the key players in the Vinexpo Hong Kong 2018, one of the most important wine industry events in the Asia-Pacific region.
The expo was held May 29-31 in the city of Hong Kong, China, and brought together a large number of wine experts and vineyards from around the world that have stood out for their leading position in each of their countries.
Fifty Chilean vineyards participated in the Chilean pavilion, which covered 516m2 and included a cultural showcase of traditional Chilean dances.
The activities also included a seminar led by the one-of-a-kind Chinese Master of Wine, Fongyee Walker, who presented exceptional pairings of Chilean white wines with the traditional Cantonese dish “Dim Sum.”
Mario Pablo Silva, Chairman of Wines of Chile, affirms that, “it is very important for us to participate in these high-level international fairs, as they allow us to demonstrate the quality and diversity of our wine offer.”
Vinexpo Hong Kong has become one of the most important wine fairs for generating business and is aimed at retail and wholesale trade specialists, international wine distributors, and others.
