This was Chile Week at Expo Shanghai, and the national and international news teams were out in force. One of the week’s special attractions was the Guided Tasting on Monday, May 31, during which Chinese sommelier Thoms Chung led a seminar for the Chinese wine trade on Chilean wine, wine regions, and how to best pair Chilean wines with Chinese dishes.
Although most of the news report is in Chinese, members of the Chilean industry speak in English about what makes Chilean wines so special, and René Merino, President of Vinos de Chile, offers tips on the best wines to pair with Peking Duck.
