Wines of Chile will host its second US On-Line Wine Blogger tasting on November 4th at 9:00 pm Chilean time, which corresponds to 4:00 pm in California and 7:00 pm in New York.

The theme for this tasting will be “Discover Carmenere:  The Lost Grape” and will focus on Carmenere and Carmenere Blends.  This tasting will be held on the Internet, where wine bloggers from around the U.S. can log on to interact with winemakers who are in Chile.

This activity is limited to 8 wineries, of which each winemaker will present one wine to the participating bloggers. The wines must have distribution currently in the US and 6 of the wines should be between $10 and $25 and 2 of the wines can be Icon wines. We will be hosting the tasting via videoconference so that the bloggers can sign on from their computer to interact with the winemakers online.
