Tom Cannavan, the man behind Wine-Pages.com, continues his thoughtful and thorough review of Chilean wine country.
In part 2 he moves southward from his starting point in Elqui and takes us through the Aconcagua Region, which consists of Aconcagua, Casablanca, and San Antonio (which in itself includes Leyda).
Tom is a great story-teller and his writing is clear, enticing, and very informative. A pleasure to read.
Be sure to click on the winery sections too, for write-ups on the wineries and the people behind them as well as his tasting notes.
Wineries visited:
Aconcagua: San Esteban & Errázuriz
Casablanca: Viña-Casablanca, Viña Mar & Morandé/Vistamar
San Antonio/Leyda: Viña-Leyda & Garcés Silva (Amayna)
