The Chilean Association of Sommeliers recently hosted the ceremony of the 5th graduating class of its Sommelier School. Chilean sommeliers must successfully complete 3 extensive courses, perform internships, and write and defend a thesis on a topic relevant to the profession.
The seven new graduates: Sebastián Lecoq, Andrea Martinez, Valdy Navea, Máximo Leonori, Claudia Gacitua, Franck Griffou, and Elena Sanchez, bring the total of Chile’s certified “Professional Sommelier” to 40.
