Wines of Chile journeyed west this October 14-16 to take part in the Culinary Institute of America’s Latin Flavor, American Kitchens Symposium on Latin Cuisines, Cultures, and Exchange in San Antonio, Texas. WoC was joined there by internationally acclaimed Chilean chef, Pilar Rodriguez, who led a segment entitled, The Chilean Table: Seasonal Inspiration for Pairing Food & Wine. Wines of Chile USA was present at each of 3 receptions to make sure that all in attendance were able to grab a glass and get a taste of the wines that make Chile such an integral player on the Latin culinary field.

Results: The Symposium was very well attended and everyone enjoyed Pilar Rodriguez’s presentations and cuisine.  The wines of Odfell, Santa Helena and Vina La Rosa were enjoyed at the receptions and Pilar paired wines from Matetic and MontGras at her seminars.
