The Wines of Chile Ontario team brings you an exclusive opportunity to present your wines to licensees and press in Canada’s largest market.
Discover Top Wines from Chile, Licensee & Press Tasting is designed to respond to the need for greater penetration of Chilean wines in Ontario’s licensee channel. The purpose of the event is to feature select wines to a targeted group of 40-50 top licensees and press.
On Tuesday, November 8th Licensees and press will be invited to taste up to 40 wines in a reception style format followed by a lunch paired with 8 of the wines hosted by Christopher Waters. The event will be held in 99 Sudbury, Toronto.
Each winery can present their two Best SKUs for licensees under $20 and above $15 and two Best SKUs over $20 retail price. This may include both red and white varietals. A maximum of four will be accepted per winery.
Wines that are offered must be available currently or soon to be available in the market (i.e. by end of 2011) or can be made available to licensees. If necessary, wineries are encouraged to arrange for samples from their winery to their agents for the tasting.
Event Schedule:
11:00 am - 12:00 noon Walk About Reception and sampling of wines
12:00 noon – 2:00 pm Sit down lunch featuring eight wines paired with a seasonally inspired menu.
Session Host: Christopher Waters, editor for Vines Magazine. Christopher will review all wines and make final lunch selections and set the tasting order.
