MontGras: Wines with a Personal Touch
A winery with soul. That is MontGras and that’s the way it was forged from the onset, with the clear objective of consistently and sustainably creating world-class wines, from Chile’s best terroirs. Brothers Hernán and Eduardo Gras, along with Cristián Hartwig, established MontGras in 1993, combining state-of-the-art technology with the talent and passion of a very special group of people. Hernán’s inspiration and winemaking trajectory, accompanied by Eduardo’s entrepreneurial vision, and Cristián’s pragmatic business sense, made the perfect combination that has converted MontGras into one of the most important wine groups of Chile, with presence in the country’s main wine regions: Colchagua, Maipo and Leyda. Our philosophy is centred in the production of quality Chilean wines, of exceptional value, that reflect the specific origin from where the grapes come from. This makes the creation of each wine a true art in which we use all our senses, trasfering MontGras’ pure sunshine to each bottle, to each experience. Today, we sell and export over 1 million cases a year, to over 25 countries, and have the following important Certifications: BRC A Category, Sustainable Wines of Chile, IMO and BSCI. We have a cozy Visitors Centre in Colchagua which has received Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence for 3 consecutive years and rated us among the Top 30 Attractions to visit in Chile. In each of our touristic programmes, visitors can enjoy our wines and learn about our history and traditions.
