This map provides detailed agroclimatic information and 21st century climate change scenarios.
The Foundation for Agrarian Innovation (FIA), within the framework of its program of Innovation in Agroclimatic Risks, launched a complete set of the agroclimatic atlas of Chile, to know how the climate has changed due to global warming.
This map is inserted as one of the most complete instruments in providing detailed agroclimatic information and 21st century climate change scenarios.
This instrument is unique in Chile and Latin America and hopes to be a tool for farmers, producers, investors, researchers, advisors and public policy designers, to have high resolution agroclimatic information, to make timely and effective decisions, and to reduce the maximum risks associated with climatic variables, with a prospective analysis at 2050 and 2070.
