Wines of Chile UK:  Britain's Best Promotional Office"

The February 2007 issue of Wine Business International revealed 17 of its choices for the 2007 Who's Who in Britain's Wine World, and the UK office of Wines of Chile topped Australia, Portugal, Italy, California, and France (among others) for this year's "Best Promotional Office" title.

A survey of more than 500 key members of the British wine industry revealed that Wines of Chile's promotional office in the UK is spot on track in one of the world's most important wine markets.

Citing Michael Cox, Wine's of Chile's UK Director, as the driving force behind the organization's successful efforts, the article went on to say:

"Today, there is no question that the Chilean office in London...is way ahead of the rest of the pack. Among the initiatives that are thought to have contributed to Chile's current success in the UK has been the presence at several consumer events and the launch of an annual Export Awards tasting in Santiago at which top UK palates judge wines that are intended for sales in their country."
