Influential British wine publication, The Drinks Business, has launched their new edition with a front cover report on Chile’s exciting new developments into different terroirs, varieties and styles. “Why cool is hot” is the cover headline and Editor Gabriel Savage discusses not just the new cool climate wines Chile is producing but also a number of the warmer regions in Chile over an 8 page expose.
Delving into the promising wines coming from northern regions like Limari and Huasco Valley as well as wines from the far south like Itata and Bio Bio, the article comprises many interviews with notable Chilean winemakers and how they are all pushing the boundaries and changing the image of Chilean wine.
The Drinks Business is one of Europe’s leading industry publications with a printed magazine and also a website that attracts 1.2m visits a month. This is another article in many over the last year showing that the international media are beginning to learn about the great diversity of terroir and taste that Chile can offer wine lovers.
