The 3rd “Carmenere al Mundo” Compeition will take place in Santiago de Chile November 22–24, 2011. The event is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Ingenieros Agrónomos-Enólogos de Chile (Chilean Association of Agricultural Engineers-Enologists) and will have judges from Australia, Brazil, France, Spain, and the United States, in addition to the national jury members.
The wines will be judged in the “Pure Carmenere,” “Carmenere Blend,” and “Experiemental Carmenere.”
The competition coincides with the 8th Latin American Conference on Viticulture and Enology, which will take place the same week, also in the Catholic University’s Centro de Extensión in Santiago de Chile.
