Gurvinder Bhatia was one of the Canadian judges who juried this year’s Annual Wines of Chile Awards. He’s been prolific about it lately and we are pleased to find multi-articles in this month’s Tidings Magazine.
He starts out with an anecdotal “Diary of a Wine Judge” in which he tells the story behind the glamour of wine competitions, including his most recent experience in Chile.
He then goes on to mention some of the Chilean gems he’s discovered in “Chile Buds,” before going on to “Walking the Vineyards” in which he expresses his opinion 0n the state of the Chilean wine industry. “You want to make an impact on the global wine scene?” he asks retorically, “Then produce great quality, regionally diverse wines that have a sense of place, do so sustainably, and do so collectively – Chile has this potential.”
