Anthony Gismondi on Chile’s Reputation & Carmenere

l-vancouver-sun-200Canadian winewriter Anthony Gismondi was among the judges who tasted hundreds of Chilean wines during the 7th Annual Wines of Chile Awards held in Santiago in January. He’s back home now and sorting his way through his notes, impressions, and memories. Especially with regard to Carmenere. And as always, he’s telling it just the way he sees it.

Here’s his latest in the Vancouver Sun: “Chile’s Ripening Reputation.”

See also the accompanying piece “In the Cellar” for tasting notes, scores, prices, and UPC codes.

and “Up from the Southern Hemisphere.”
