Eduardo Chadwick, owner and president of Chile’s Viña Errázuriz, was honored with a “Special Contribution Award” as part of the 6th Annual Drinks Business Awards held during the London International Wine Fair (LIWF) on May 13. The prize was created to acknowledge his contribution to the drinks industry as a whole.
This is just the latest of a series of recent awards for Chadwick and the Errázuriz winery. He was named the 2008 Wine Personality of the Year by the Chilean Circle of Food & Wine Writers, Viña Errázuriz was awarded the 2008 Winery of the Year by the Vinos de Chile Association, and named the Best Chilean Wine Producer by the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC).
I have a double magnum of Chadwick/Mondavi made Caliterra reserva cab sav ’97. Does anyone have any more info on this wine please?
