This year ten US judges—Robert Bradshaw, Patrick Comiskey, Linda Murphy, David Rosengarten, Michael Schachner, Josh Raynolds, Sandy Block, Stuart Roy, Alder Yarrow, and Kevin Zraly—have agreed to tune their palates to hundreds of Chilean wines on January 12–14, 2009. Chilean wineries will submit up to 6 wines each that are available in the US market in two price ranges, $12.00 to $16.99 and $17.00 to $30.00.

The activities will wind up with two important events. The much-appreciated annual seminar will take place on the morning of Thursday, January 15, when the judges will address the local wine industry on the topic of “American Pie: How Chile Can Increase its Slice of the Market.”
The event will close with a Gala Awards Ceremony on the evening of the 15th (invitation only).
